Pastel Desert
Death Valley National Park
On a mild winter evening in Death Valley, I sat atop a ridge overlooking Zabriskie Point, drawn into the quiet drama of the badlands below. The scene held me there—pastel tones washing over deeply carved terrain. It was the paradox that spoke to me: colors so delicate they seemed to whisper, played against textures so striking, they nearly shouted. Photo © copyright by David Farag.
